LINE launches new application for marketers

During the DAAT 2018, Digital Advertising Association (Thailand) together with Kantar TNS (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading market research agency, have revealed the result of market survey on the value of Thai digital advertising that LINE is the platform with the highest growth rate of digital advertising in Thailand, with 83% growth from last year.

During the event, LINE has introduced new service platform which can help digital marketers to measure the result of advertising more accurately and can effectively reach all target audiences all over Thailand.

Mr. Norasit Sitivechvichit, LINE Thailand’s Commercial Director, said in 2018 LINE is one of the digital platforms with highest growth rate in Thailand. At present, 95% of 45 million internet users on smart phones are LINE users. The recent new services LINE has launched include:

LINE Customer Connect: This is designed to solve the call center problem. It found out that Thai people waste more than 750 million hour per year waiting on call center. LINE has taken call center service to place on the official account of a brand. For example, it has an automatic response by AI Chatbot around the clock as well as services by genuine staff. Even when you are travelling abroad, you can still give smooth customer services. The platform also allows free LINE call via internet. By this way, customers waste no more time to wait for call center and brands can increase customer satisfaction.

LINE Notification Service: designed is to better serve customers and not bother consumers. For example, it has alert messages to remind the status of services that the users choose. Messages can be sent through the Line Official Account without having to be a follower of that account before. Brand marketers can also use Line Notification service to monitor if the customers receive the messages or not after sending.

LINE DATA Official Account: Thailand is the only country in Asia which has Development Center so brands can take advantages of customer feedback to do Data Marketing. Data OA is a Customer Relationship Management which is linked directly to the customers and brands can see who they are, what kind of lifestyle they have, what are their preferences and so on. The service allows brand to do personalized services directly to customers.

LINE Coupon Sticker: This service enables brands which have no LINE official account to sell their products by launching promotion to stimulate sales to reach the target goals. The service comes in form of stickers which stimulate the download and forward to others which will be a great way for do promotion.

Line Man Taxi Media: Line Man Taxi has been introduced for six months with now more than one million times of service. Line is now ready to do advertising on taxi by wrapping the taxi with brands advertising.

Line Idol: Collaboration with agencies to manage bloggers, publishers, and celebrities, there are publishers whose more than 9 million followers such as Cloud, The Matter, Beartai, and Kai Hua Roh.
