Startup Guide Bangkok To Be Launched Through A Collaboration Of Startup Guide And Thai Partners

Bangkok’s startup ecosystem is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. With high mobile and social media usage among its population, it should come as no surprise that Thai fintech and ecommerce startups are leading the way in Southeast Asia. The government has introduced a variety of initiatives aimed at making Thailand accessible for foreign entrepreneurs and investors alike. Such factors become a source of collaboration of Startup Guide and local partners to introduce Startup Guide Bangkok.

Startup Guide Bangkok will be packed with essential information, insightful interviews and valuable resources to help entrepreneurs navigate the startup ecosystem and build their big idea. In order to ensure the guidebook is accurate, it will be made in collaboration with our community partner HUBBA, city partner Startup Thailand of National Innovation Agency and media partner Techsauce. Additionally, the book will be supported by SAP Next-Gen.

Nominations are open for Startup Guide Bangkok, the definitive handbook for aspiring entrepreneurs in Thailand.  Submissions for startups, founders, spaces, programs, schools and investors to be featured in the guidebook can be made until March 26th at

Founded by Sissel Hansen, Startup Guide published its first guidebook in 2014 in Berlin. The publishing and media company has books in over 20 cities across Europe, North America and the Middle East,  as well as a regional guidebook spanning the Nordics. New books in Asia and Africa, including cities such as Singapore and Johannesburg, are set to be launched this year. In autumn 2018, the company launched a media website,, born out of the desire to explore different types of content and reach a wider audience.
